Torque Converter fault?
Getting quite a lot of juddering when towing, particularly around 2,500rpm, trailer/ load weight is around 1100Kg.on Thursday it kicked down with a jolt and immediately came up with a transmission error. Is this bad?

Sounds like the TC is on its way out. Maybe a gearbox problem as well.

I had the very same coming back through France with tintent in tow. I was using the manual shift and trying to hold high gear - obviously in error. I was 300 miles from Calais, pulled over, cleared codes and restarted. No further issues even though I thought I could hear / feel every nuance the box was making.
Got her home OK, added a tube of Dr. T, cleared the adaptations, reflashed the transmission with the latest SW and all (fingers crossed) seems OK. 3+ months on now and no further issues.
