Head Light Module - hi beam not working

I have a left hand hi beam not working . The RH side is ok , all the fuses are ok
The auto elec before he starts pulling the car apart want to check the headlight module .
Any hints on where it is hiding ?
Ps has the bi xenon option

Not sure if you are talking about the high beam spotlight or the xenon light itself.

Guessing at the xenon then most likely a sticking shutter, which can be freed and lubricated.

Do these have a different high beam shutter in the xenon? I wondered if it just brings on the H7

Yes, the xenons function as both high and low beams. Thumbs Up

@ the OP, the only separate ECU fitted is if you have adaptive lights, to control the swivelling and levelling. The main beams (including the H7s) are controlled by an FET built into the CJB (passenger fusebox). Wink

Is the xenon shutter working on that lamp? If it's working then a wiring issue outside the unit can be ruled out. Thumbs Up

Yes it is the wiring leading into the plug that connects to the back of the head light that has no power to it.Fuses are ok , just need to try to track it back to where it has failed .
