A bit of help from any of you lot with a nob!

I've noticed today, and an awful lot of times since that when I press my brake pedal my knob is 'klunking' only when in 'Park'. It is quite a significant clunk.

I've never noticed this before. I've always assumed some brake pedal link must be present....?

Does yours do this too? 26 and on the 4th LR..
Series 2a 1963 88'' 2.25 Derv as original with Galv chassis
Disco 1 1996 V8 on LPG (sold now)
Disco 3 2005 TDV6 S (sold now)

is it slow speed your talking..ie parking up...if there any movement of the car and you slam it in parking.
the brakes aren't stopping it the spigot is

I was completely stationary every time I heard it today...

A little worried it is going to pack up altogether and disable me from twiddling the bloody thing! 26 and on the 4th LR..

It's just the solenoid for the lever lock, nothing to worry about.
