Hi all, does anybody have a car trailer I can borrow to pick up a land rover Discovery 1 project.
I live in Watford Herts so hopefully somewhere around this area would be great.
Fozzie.

Hi Fozzie, you may struggle with this.
I gave up loaning out my trailers a long time a go for several reasons, came back with broken lights, punctures, lost the light connection cable. Invariably those people who borrow your trailer then want to borrow your straps too.
I am sure you are totally trustworthy, just giving you heads up as to why many people won't lend them out.
It costs £25-50 to hire one for a day IID PRO

I've used GT Towing at Potters Bar a few times over the years. Always good service and not too far from you. D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.
D3 2005 HSE, Bonatti Grey, now sold but still comes back for servicing.
Defender 2002 Td5 Commercial, had a hard life but slowly being restored.
I only work so I can afford to repair my Land Rovers!

You make a good point, I would need the straps as well as I haven't done this before. I would pay for any damage obviously, I'm surprised people don't cough up when they get a puncture or damage lights. I had a quick look on tinternet and it was £78 for for hire which I thought was a bit too much, I was hoping to pay £50. I'll try the one in Potters bar.
Cheers.
Fozzie.
