Andrew Daniel as Managing Director, Jaguar and Land Rover South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Roland Reid. He succeeds Dawid van der Merwe who from September 1st onwards will join Ford Motor Company.
Roland was formerly Fleet Operations Manager for Ford Motor Company responsible for all Fleet Sales, Remarketing and Company Fleet and is excited to join the Land Rover team.
Roland Reid started his career in the dealer network prior to joining Ford in Port Elizabeth in 1983. He fulfilled various roles in Parts Marketing, Training, Business Management, Market Representation, Dealer Development and Sales Management. In 1990 he joined Nissan and rejoined Ford (then SAMCOR) in 1993 as Regional Sales Manager. He moved to Head Office as Ford Marketing Manager and took up his previous assignment shortly thereafter.
Roland was schooled at Kingsway High School in Natal. His hobbies include angling, game viewing, sports viewing, travelling and
