Help me green lane!

Ok so it's going to be my first time green lane/off roaring in her,
The kids will be coming along for the ride as well (age 7 + 9 and new born)
I don't want to go really mad for the first time, and don't want to be going places I could possibly get stuck or seriously damage Her.
I would like to take her into some water and put her to a little challange tho, my disco in a tdv6 hse 05
No extra kit on yet, apart from ladders and general grabbers on.

I am located in Hyde, greater manchester I don't know what's around my area really if anyone knows?

Many thanks.

Becoming a member of glass gives you access to trailwise, which sows all the green lanes suitable for driving. Although I think you can access trailwise free but with limited searches.
Or even sign up here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic134601.html Thumbs Up

We did that lane a couple of years ago although it wasn't that deep Shocked but it was icy and snowy and I felt really sorry for the lad on the trials bike who wanted to go ahead of us and then fell off his bike mid stream and totally submerged him and his bike Whistle He did look rather cold when he surfaced Laughing

What you can't tell from the photo is that the driver of the D2 is towing the Suzuki behind back to dry land because the Suzuki driver had completely drowned it in the even deeper ford further back Rolling with laughter

must confess some of that looks extreme...if you playing with a 50 grand car and it goes tits up and life and limb are at risk...where is the fun...suggest lre for a taster first...and as was said don't go alone.
