Device Error on iPhone connection

Hoping someone can help. Keep getting "Device Error" when connecting and iphone or ipod to the cable in the centre cubby. It takes a long time saying "connecting" then comes the error message.

I've tried different devices and even swapped out the cables but no joy. My cable and devices are fine as they work in another D4. So the question is...

Is there a reset routine I can try or is it a case of off to the stealers and get them to sort it?

TIA Thumbs Up

I have the same issue....

So, I ordered this cable from the local dealer...

I will install it in the top passenger cubby. The constant flexing/folding of the cable between the lid and the center cubby caused the cable to break. I think this is why new models now have these connectors in the top passenger cubby anyway. My Ipod with audio books and USB stick with music on are controlled through the Radio buttons on the steering anyway.

Cheers

Hi Chris, thanks for the response. Mine resolved itself after I disconnected and reconnected all the components in the cubby, including the cable that runs down through the centre console. So fingers crossed it was just a loose connection, but failing that I to will be replacing the cable. Thumbs Up
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
