Only watched first couple of mins but driving style looked right for the conditions, he's going to get nowhere pussyfooting. Sometimes you gotta drive it like you stole it.

Seems alright to me, again people just don't realise what their D3/4 is capable of, its what sets it apart from the competition, its far more than a luxury people carrier.Club Pie n Pea

Momentum is your only option in conditions such as that. The grip only exists pre and post the mud hazard - you have to carry enough energy to span the gap. You also need fellow drivers in the convoy to understand that too, to provide large enough intervals and enough clearance beyond the cleared hazard before stopping.
Even when viewed from the outside the drivers appear to have a very good handle on which way the front wheels are pointing. Videos of me from the outside are much less flattering!
Side steps are not a good idea though.

As another thought in the video you can see fellow drivers giving vehicles a manual push or just a nudge to get the vehicle pointing the right way. Both are common techniques that can help enormously. What I fear for the D5 is that it will follow the path of the RRS2 and have incredibly thin skin.
You can flex an RRS2 body panel with your fingers and people have pushed panels in when washing them. If the D5 is equally weight conscious then the tin-foil body panels will loose their off-road practicality.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

And towing stability too.

I wonder what tyres they were using? Great stuff.
Hard to see but the few closer shots they didn't look to have a particularly aggressive tread pattern.==================================

I thought that he will loose side step after getting bogged out.
Nevertheless that would be a great day out.
