Just put deposit down on a 62 plate HSE sight unseen
Well apart from the video they sent me.
Can't wait but am suffering a strange sense of have I been mad? The ones at the right price all seemed to be disappearing very quickly at the moment, so caution to the wind and all that.

Llandudno, of all places (not that there's anything wrong with Llandudno of course - used to spend many happy days near there). It's a my13 with low mileage and I'm assured there aren't even any parking dings. Am I mad to trust to a remote sale?

Should be fine as it's Approved Used, so 2 year warranty, 2 year Land Rover Assistance and 30 day/ 1000 mile conditional exchange.
If it's being delivered to you, you'll probably need to sign-off on checking it over - just take your time looking at it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Dalek & MarsKy - those are my thoughts.
And to think last week, I almost bought an E Class as SWMBO was aghast at the price of the disco, fortunately I was gazumped, so I started looking at other cars again. Saw a nice 5 series and thought maybe that was the right car. So took SWMBO to see a nasty one (too black inside) with a salesman who ignored her.
We walked out of there and she was less than impressed.
"Let's go look at LR dealer next door" she said. They had a perfect spec Orkney grey disco and freelander, but the disco might have been sold. Took the FL for a drive and wasn't for me, so pleaded with Sales chap to let her take the disco out. She loved it. So spent yesterday and today chasing cars which had just sold. And when the chaps with the only e class in the country which spec I could have considered didn't return the call - Disco here I come.

You had the choice of an E Class, a 5 Series or a Disco? Blimey, you had a lucky escape!
I've bought my last 2 FL2's, having only seen the dealer's photos of the car, otherwise completely unseen and then driven 400 miles from there to here. Both were around 12-18 months old and both were fine.

Looks like a very nice vehicle, but as marsKy says, really take your time checking out every last bit before signing! From my experience, especially check the operation of all functions of the drivers seat!D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership

To be fair, my current E class has served me very well and I am sorely going to miss 3.5L petrol (so the fuel bills won't be a shock); this will be my first ever oil burner. But I hate listening to the scrapes every time I go down a muddy track and I've always wanted something from Solihull.
DudleyDisco, checking over is definitely going to be the tricky bit - it will be so shiny and mine and and just give me the **** keys
