OZTENT found in Liverpool.
Had a call from a friend last night he came across an Oztent pitched up at the side of the fishing lake on the estuary park, looks like some kids had been using it as a drinking den , it's all there except for two front poles, so all I need is two poles ordering happy days:-).Steve

To be honest Steve, Oztents have become the quality choice of the very long stay anglers, especially on the Continent. They have moved away from expensive umbrella style bivvys and pop ups because they require the longevity that an Oztent offers.
That was how I originally came across them too. I spotted one in a fishing video and the rest is history. The fact they are the choice of many LR campers too was purely coincidental for me.
Must admit though, for one to turn up apparently abandoned, is somewhat odd.
Which one is it out of interest?Mods:

AND what's wrong with a couple of Lithuanians or Romanians doing the job? Or even keeping local jobs for local people?

It's an RV3 , I've asked around and no one In our circles has reported one missing so it's probably unrecorded, I've just sold an rv5 so this will come in handy for further outings later on , TBH there's always stuff left at the fishing site people seem to just abandon their gear .Steve
