What LED type/colour temperature to match Ambient Lighting?

Hi,
Looking at changing the interior and puddle lights to brighter/whiter LED's.

Has anyone successfully matched the D4 'Ambient Lighting' (in photos) and if so, what did they use?

I've seen the PowerfulUK's upgrade kit but this is more than just bulb upgrades: http://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/land-ro...white.html

Cant really help with the ambient lighting match but wow that Powerful UK kit is expensive! I don't all mine with ebay bulbs and they have been 100%. If the ambient lighting is on while driving then I assume it to be fairly dim and any LED main lighting will easily overpower it and make colour matching pointless.
