IID Tool - My First CCF edit
So, yesterday I took the plunge and decided to do a little CCF editing with my IID tool - Had it for a couple of months now, but only used for reading and clearing faults.
As you may know I had a EPP issue day before yesterday, so the first edit was to remove the 'Auto' EPB coming on when you pull the key out. Took a few goes, but then realised I had to save the ccf file - but managed to do it (My handbrake is currenlty two bricks )
Boyed by this success, I then decided to see if I could get the reverse lights to come on when I hit the "Follow me home" lights on the key-fob..... Success after only a few mins, now works perfectly, looing forward to seeing what they look like in the dark
Another +++for the IID tool, I read and cleared sailorboy's fault codes today as well - what a fantastic tool
Big thanks to GAP Diagnostics Iggy/Ieuan

Hi RW,
From memory, from main menu scroll down until you come to
- Car Config
- This will be followed by "Reading CFF" Message
- Once completed....
- Scroll down the next menu until you come to "instrument Pack"
- Scroll down until you come to "Follow me home lights reverse lamp" (Somethjing like that)
- It will currently show as "Inactive"
- Hit Enter, until it changes to "Active"
- Exit this menu and exit again - you will then see a message asking if you want to save CFF file
- You must select 'Yes' (I think it's a '+' for Yes) or your changes won't be saved
- Once saved, exit, the IID tool
It now now work when you press the fey fob
This change will not work when you take the key out of the ignition, only front lights will work....but it does work when you use the key fob option
Drop me a PM if still stuck Iggy/Ieuan

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but can an IID Tool edit the CCF file for the amplifier from Aud 2 to Aud 4, and could it also enable Xenon's on my Disco 3.
Cheers Lads.
