D4 Steering wheel height adjust
Hi, new owner here and have a quick, probably stupid question about the electric steering wheel height adjust. On two occasions I have managed to get the wheel to move higher than what appears to be the normal highest position. I had left it at this height but my son fiddled with it and unfortunately I can't seem to get it to go back, is there a knack to this or am I looking at a faulty column? It is driving me mad not being able to see anything above 1 on the rev counter...

I'd be interested to hear if this is possible? I'm 6'4 and I struggle to see the top of the speedo and rev counter as well.Cheers Scott.

You can also pull/ push the steering column out/in?

Thanks MarsKy, I wonder if when the wheel moves out of the way, as it states in that article, that it moves up into the position I managed to get it into...? I will try that out later. I am assuming you need to drop the car into the lowest height to enable that function? Can't say I have noticed the car do it otherwise.

It's nothing to do with the vehicle height, just as per the instructions above. I keep mine in manual mode as having the steering wheel moving about seems rather unnecessary, but you can try it in auto.
