Lightforce Lights
i recently decided to upgrade my roof lights to Lightforce 140's, i discovered that they wouldent fit where i wanted them. after a discussion with TFC who rightly pointed out that lighting comming the roof can glare off the screen and reflect of airbourne dust.
i decided to mount the lights lower down, not wanting to fit an a bar, i am toying with the idea of fitting them into the grill (somehow)
i have mounted the lights in the right place and now just have to work out trying to cut the grill to suit. or i might just cut the center out of the grill and put in some ss grill.
any one any good with photoshop? i would love to know what it would look like

Cut the grille - but sort out the mounting height first drop down off the slam panel with threaded bar and some angle on it
Could do, just cutting a section out of the bottom should be enough, they come up on eBay cheap enough from time to time, I've got a couple.
Need to get a solid fixing otherwise they'll vibrate too much, as I've already got the holes in a bumper cover I was thinking of a 'light bar' using the same mounting points as the nudge bar uses or even attached to the winch cradle (not so easy with an hidden winch though )The End

Gents , don't know my from my elbow here. But could the lights be mounted on a more forward bracket brought back down to the slam plate , a sort of Z bracket as such.Up vertical from slamplate , under and forward of grille and finally up again to form a vertical face to fix to ? ( presuming lightforces can be fixed to vertical plane , if not a flat plate to take a horizontal mount ? )
Maybe it would vibrate too much . Forgive me a D3 newby thinking aloud

Get some plywood and fix it to your grill then mark out where the lights go and cut them out with a hole saw but
you must strengthen it at the back with something that will not show only a suggestion.Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication [email protected] D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks
