Overriding VIM
Is there a way to override the VIM setting? Playing a movie keeps my son quiet, but doesn't help if the vehicle is moving 2012 LR Discovery SDV6 SE

Yes, there is a way of doing it, but you'll need an adaptor cable. Have a look at Xcarlink.co.uk !D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Thanks, crap load of money for something with probably one cable inside, although I assume it just ups the speed limit at which video cuts out. On our VW RNS510 system I could just upgrade the software with a fix that uploads the timeout speed to 300km/h. Hoped there was such a fix for the LR unit also.2012 LR Discovery SDV6 SE
