Depending on where you go, the full day can be a little more interesting! I took my old man to the one in Perth, and we spent the morning on the usual course and the afternoon in the midst of the Blair Athol estate.

Back in Feb I did half day experience and filled the morning with factory tour at Solihull. Awesome day out seeing flat metal sheets becoming Range Rover sides in 10 seconds or so, seeing them riveted together for RR and welded for D4. The chassis build, engine install, and marriage of body to running gear. Afternoon spent getting them wet and muddy!
Seems the rock climb claims tyres as I badly cut one on there!
So depends if you want best of both worlds drive all day or do half and half, factory tour was only £45 for three hours. I can only recommend as I say awesome day out!

Ring the Experience Centre on 01350 727720, and talk to Verity Power, see what she can sort out? I had a half-day voucher and paid the extra to make it a full day. Could have tried different vehicles on the same course (as the original poster did), but the other option was to explore a limited area of the Athol Estate - guess which I chose!

The RR and D4 i drove had factory fresh road wheels and tyres. The RR had a mere 79 miles on the clock. But the off road course was no issue with the road tyres the ability of the vehicle is truly amazing even with these limited grip tyres in the mud and water, the climbs and declines with them full of wet mud were accomplished with ease.
Staggering what they can do, on two or three wheels as well! (yes you get to put them through the paces where you will have wheels off the deck)

Yep, the one my old man and I drove was on standard road tyres. In fact the whole vehicle is standard apart from the addition of a chin guard.
