Hi
Need to pick the brains of the gods. I have a d3 year 05 SE and the alternator is fried just looking for parts to change myself so my questions are
Do I need to change both drive belt tentioners? I'm going to get new belt
Second what alternator do I need ? No roll stabile control less ace ?
How do I know if I have these ? Cheapest place for parts on web ?
Thanks for your help

You dont need to change both tensioners with the belt but its certainly good practice, one of the tensioners is actually just an idler.
Search on here as a certain make of alternator has caused issues
D3 does not have ace, I think rrs does.

My thought on changing both was it's done 155k so they may be well worn ?

Well if they are original and have made 155k they have done very well.
I got genuine tensioners, did use a pattern belt though.
