yesterday I adjusted my handbrake (thanks Bodsy) and fitted new handbrake cable retainers. Just in time too for one of them.
Worn nearly all the way through!
Tad too late for mine, offside had gone right through.==================================

Picked it up from ST53VEN, drove it down from Aberdeen to Northumberland trouble free, aiming to get it on the road for next month and start making it mine

Replaced the other break line hanger, looked a bit like the one on classikfan's picture and replaced the front brake sensor after it finally gave up the ghost.==================================

What a performance getting headlight unit out, not so much the procedure but those tabs were not for sliding squirt of WD40 moved them sufficiently but they are going to get a dose of copper slip spray when I get the car back

Following a bum clenching moment yesterday whilst braking in the heavy rain, I decided to get the vibration under braking problem sorted. I suspected warped discs, I priced up the job at my local indie but Kwikfit would do a free check, so opted for them. I watched as they did a thorough inspection and they took the time to show me the inner faces of the discs and these were seriously pitted, which could easily cause a pulsing effect with pad contact. £540 later the problem has gone, the lads also did a wheel alignment and the car feels and brakes like a new car. Sorted.

I finally got round to buying and fitting a new type front diff breather cap.
Going by the hiss from the pipe when cutting the old one off it was not before time I did it!
Also replaced the pollen/cabin filter and the engine air filter.
