Two new tie rods without the need for Land rovers £300 special tool, £10 lump hammer did the job, just the rear to do tomorrow.==================================

Had new lower arms fitted and had new ARB's fitted.
Now to get the 4 new boots I have sat in the garage fitted and it 4 wheel aligned.

I finally managed to get round to inspect the front parking sensors which were inactive and every time the reverse gear was selected sounded long beep sound and inactive front parking sensors message on the dash.
Removed bumper and replaced the faulty one. After testing and cancelling the faults with IIDtool it is working as it should be.
Job done!!!

Removed the old silver badges from the tailgate and bonnet, cleaned up the areas and replaced them with these nice new gloss black ones. Had mine re-mapped today The throttle response is amazing and can feel there is more power on tap, I also noticed the MPG figure went up
Cannot wait to give some wellie away from the lights or roundabout
Fitted mud flaps two days ago. Fitted front light guards and changed green badges to black ones all round yesterday.
Today it is at IAWA 4x4 in Wellingborough for new oil pump after buying the car at the weekend and reading up about weak 07/08MY pump casings leading to engine failures (so biting the bullet and replacing for peace of mind). Will have new cam belt fitted. Last one done at 76k and now at 102k. Also having full service.
Replacement Torque Converter and gearbox flush are next things to consider having done - will take advice after road test today.D3 HSE Zermatt Silver (08MY)
