Put a set of those on our E39 Touring last year, excellent tyres through hot and cold, wet and dry, but do seem to wear down quicker than others

Just finished Front ARB bushes and the little knocks on uneven roads now disappeared
Very satisfying and easy job with a right angled 18mm spanner. No other tools required and didnt need to remove any other parts to access
Finished just before storm Barbara approaches ....................................................................................................

Fitted the driving lights that Santa brought my wife.
I had spent the last 2 days fitting the bumper brackets and wiring. I forgot about updating the ccf though, so initially they were a bit disappointing All working now though.
Simon.

What real attributes does changing the factory fit internal lighting to LEDs bring?
I know they use about a ninth of the power of a filament bulb, but has the car not an adequate battery as designed?

The difference is massive. It's in the boot where the real benefit is gained though. The little light was inadequate to fully light up the boot, but just by changing it to an LED, I can see into all corners. Brilliant, cheap and useful mod.

(on Friday)
Had my timing belts and oil pump changed by DM in Dundee.
210,000 (actual 211400+) belt was still in reasonably good condition, but a couple of the rollers had seen better days, wee belt was original going by date stamp, pump looked okay, but happy now they're all changed.
