Small high pitched whining noise!

I am noticing a very subdued high pitched whining noise! seems to come somewhere from the right, it sort of disappears and then comes back and sometimes I cant hear it at all!

Anybody else?

Yes i have this too i thought it might be from the tv module (rhs
Behind panel in boot). Not able to check because loaded up. 1996 Defender -died (now in landrover heaven😇)chassis to ashes , rust to dust !
2004 Defender td5 gone
2012 Evoque gone
2007 D3 V8 HSE

Well as long as its not from the turbo??? I've heard that when thats cutting out there is a whining noise but if I remember correctly that a very loud whining!

Think it’s a cooling fan for the audio amp on my D3. It’s on my list of things I haven’t got around to yet to have a look and see how easy it is to replace.
