Mazda RX8 seats - do they fit???

Would the above seats fit?
They are quite cheap & are used in a lot of modded vehicles.
Would all the sensors be able to be linked up.

My XS commercial auto has done 172000 miles & the drivers seat foam is knackered & isn't heated.
They also look quite comfy.

They seem to be a popular mod for a Defender, I think they'd look a bit odd in a Disco though Confused

they aren't the most comfy in a defender, there must be a replacement D3 seat in a scrappy somewhere. For a cheap and simple mod the Waeco heated seat pads are very good if you can't find details of how to put in a disco heated seat

Unless you happen to be giraffe the low-slung sports seats may make looking over the D3 dash a challenge!

I've got the heated seat pads, but they don't fit.
If you look at the base it has a metal bar going across it, if the pad went underneath it would break & if it went over the top it would split.
the land rover base has a heat pad that goes front to middle & back to middle (inc bolsters)

I do have the seat on its lowest & right back, but my wife has it raised & slightly forward.

Just thought they would look like the fancy seats you get in the poshed up sports for peanuts.

biggest concern is the electrics. Exclamation

My Brother in Law has a Very Nice RX8 R3, the seats are very nice in a low slung sports car. But getting into my D3 after being in his car is like settling into a nice armchair after spending the day in a deckchair - chalk and cheese, both good for their designed situations but out of them just strange.

I can only imagine that in something like a D3 they'd be as weird as anything to climb up and into.
Can't you find some nice HSE seats you could put in?
