Anyone fancy taking out a green lane virgin *Somerset/wiltsh
Some time in next few weeks or so? No real off Road experience in the uk other than muddy festival fields but a few thousand km under my belt throughout Oz. Guessing sand and rock uses different skills than soggy mud! Lol
Anyway, I'm in West Somerset but know there are stuff all Green lanes in this County (grrrr at somerset highways) so guess I'll have to venture into Wiltshire.
So who fancies taking me out? I'm sure you'll get a good laugh at my expense
Car is D3 and I'd rather not scratch or bash it up as only had it a fortnight

lre Honiton trec days can either be around Exeter or on Exmoor...you drive in convoy normally restricted to 15 cars...it normally lasts from around 10 in morning until around 430. covering about 30 miles ...a lot of it is on Clinton estates ground or MOD land at woodbury..
you will need off road insurance...you would struggle to get stuck on these tracks but help is available if you do..as for non damaging it normally is unless you are silly or unlucky...failing that try lre Solihull and take in the factory visit...YOU WILL ENJOY IT and learn exactly wat your disco will do amazing

Like everything in life, we're all virgins until we've popped
Despite many hundreds of miles covered offroad in oz..... Other than a few woodland tracks and muddy farmers field masquerading as a car park (always navigated in a 2 wheel drive normal car) I've never driven off road in mud.
I'm guessing it's somewhat different than sand and rock

Look at the fourwheedriveclub many local members and good trips to Salisbury Plain and Dorset. The Plain will give you plenty of mud with a good crew to recover you when needed.
