Payday mods
So I picked these up today and fitted.
I was wondering what value people have torque their boots up to?
The ones on the underside just keep going and I am worried I am bending the cill.
Also it says they are safe to winch and jack off (teehee ) and will take the full weight of the vehicle. So this is just attached to cills/ body work and nothing I would call substantial unless I am missing something.
They have come with a textured powder coat tater ten a shiny one. All in all very impressed and a very reasonable price.

Nah, you can't winch off the side repeaters. Just use the wing mirrors.

So going back to part of the original post. Did people manage to get the bolts underneath tight. I couldn't even torque them up to 30nm. They just kept going . No settings were given and I didn't want to damage anything. Would be interested how others got on.

I didn't use a torque wrench on mine but mine all went in fine
I guess somewhere between 30-40 Nm

Mine went in fine and there is a some resistance there but they just keep going and don't seem to get any tighter. So wondered if I was flexing the cill or just feeling extra strong. D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.
