It's about time i started using protection....
... so I've ordered some tree bars and lamp guards off of fleabay... I did a little search on here and didn't find them, so here's a linky to the bars on 'the bay'...
Has any one bought this particular set? Will I end up regretting my purchase? They were the cheapest I've found and anything is better than nothing...
next month is gonna be a terrafirma sump and steering guard, then at some point some nice shiny (matt black actually) stormer alloys, gearing up for the LRO show next September.what is this life, if full of care?

I guess there's only a finite number of practical designs for this kind of thing... and when other suppliers are demanding £100-£150 more +VAT and shipping, I take bargains where i see them :-p
As I said though, I'm hoping the lower price doesn't mean lower quality...
It's a shame that every accessory for the d3 costs twice, sometimes 3 times as much as the same item for a Defender or d1/d2 what is this life, if full of care?

The sliders have been amazing, they've saved me from a lot of damage when in Yarwell and also on greenlaning in the Yorkshire Dales. Regular sprays with a bit of black paint have kept the rust away, but may need to replace the grip tape soon as it's getting a bit ragged (it's cheap off ebay anyway). They make pretty good steps when my mum needs a lift to Tescos as well :-pwhat is this life, if full of care?
