Easy car battery disconect mod
Sometimes a reset is needed in our cars, and maybe this reset is needed when we have not tool to undo the batery poles.
so:
grab a car disconecter switch (cheap, you could find it everywhere, amazon have it)
undo the bolt at the positive that goes to the central fuse box (it feeds the ecus, so if you disconect, you cut the energy and gets the desired reset) and change it for the manual bolt (same thread).

same thread, no problems. only check for bolt lenght and shim if necessary.

Battery lid closes perfect.

you are done, if your gets stranded because a ecu getting mad...just undo the manual bolt and take 5 minutes. no need for tool no need to undo a battery pole. just turn with your hand.

Much easier to press the vehicle reset button on the IID tool
But an interesting mod more for the post clamp as they seem to be hard to get properly tight Mark.

interesting mod, those things are $2 just about anywhere here, I think I have a couple from when I used them as a dual battery isolator, might look into this myself.
BTW you need to get out more, that engine bay is way too clean

It's probably worth mentioning the safety risks at some point. Batteries should only be disconnected by removing the negative clamp first before touching the positive.
The primary reason for this is that should you accidentally ground the positive side with a tool whilst the battery is still connected at the negative terminal you will start an unexpected welding session. There is also a secondary risk with sparks vs unplugged battery vent lines but do not underestimate the power released should you accidentally ground the positive terminal on a live circuit.
When disconnecting the battery observe the time required for the vehicle to go to sleep and it is also advisable to do this with doors unlocked and the driver's window lowered.
