Brake disc won't turn!

I'm trying to clean and adjust my EPB but I'm unable to turn the disc to line the holes up. The EPB is turned off and fuse pulled and the D3 is in Park. Is it because I don't have both rear wheels off the ground?

If you had your vehicle on an incline and the gearbox in park would you expect the vehicle to roll-away or stay put?

Thumbs Up

That's what I was thinking! I was mislead by DM's how to, it says to put vehicle in park unless I was having a brain fart and read it wrong!

Thanks Robbie Thumbs Up

I must admit to never having tried it in park, but the above logic is what I have been working to all these years.

I could be wrong.

I think your logic is correct Thumbs Up I more than likely read it wrong, I'll check when I'm finished!

Another small question.........what is best to clean the EPB with, just brake cleaner and a brush?

Yes. The diff will let the wheels rotate in opposite directions. Wink
