Disco 3 cuts out - but restarts and seems fine

My disco 3 has done this twice now. It cut out as though you'd turned key off.

It does restart and off you go?! Done it twice now so wife getting tetchy about driving it. Once today and about 2 months ago.

Ours is a May 2006 (06 plate)

We've recently had an issue with the egr so have had a blanking plate fitted last week.

Any pointers ?

Do you mean earth strap for battery in engine bay ?
