Anyone had an 8-speed gearbox flush ?
I'm only on 42k and no issues,just wondered"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Given the extra power/torque, but different oil, probably the same as the 6 speed, at 50-75k, dependant on use My D3 Build Thread

JLR have got a bit more of a grip on reality and acknowledge that with 'severe duty' the gearbox oil requires changing as early as 30k.
I'm in the process of planning my first conventional single flush right now - 24 months old with 28k on the clock. A very nice gentleman has even helped me with the specialist tool to attack the gearbox given the rather difficult location of the fill port!
Now if we had a way to megaflush the 8-speed….

Yeah I know, I need to drag my sorry under the car and take some pictures. It's just been cold and uninviting and I am a famously 'fair weather' DIY mechanic. Give me an electrical issue any day!
