Puncture/Flat Tyre

While the wife was out in the Discovery tonight when I get a phone call to say she has a puncture/flat tyre, gone from fully inflated to flat (as flat as a pancake) in about 50 metres, cannot see at the moment where it has failed!!.

So I went and changed the wheel and now I have two problems: -

1. While tightening up the lockable wheel nut, the adaptor failed on me, see photo’s below.
2. Really need to get a new tyre tomorrow as I am supposed to be going off roading on Sunday at Rockingham and do not want to chance not having a spare so need really need to get the tyre replaced tomorrow.

So I will be at by dealers first thing tomorrow to try and get a new adaptor and then I need to try and find some where to purchase a new 19” tyre, any suggestions where to purchase and have one fitted in the Surrey / West London area would be appreciated.

That wheel key will probably still work if yo are careful, but your dealer should be able to order you a new one. The tyres are probably best got from the dealer also. I had a puncture a few weeks ago, but managed to get the nuts off OK. I had my tyre repaired.

See you Sunday hopefully.
