Pretty sure it's plip once to disable the internal sensor whilst leaving the external alarm active. Plip twice to arm all sensors.

At least that's what I do when the dog is in the car and I can't remember the alarm going off.
Assuming it works, it is a land rover after all Wink

I thought with the D4 it was one press to lock the doors and a second to deadlock them.

If you need to turn off the interior sensors you can do that via the vehicle set up menu using the steering wheel buttons, where you would also access drive away locking and headlight delay etc.

Like Fitzy says, you can do it through the vehicle set up menu, but next time you lock it, it will arm the interior sensors again, you have to disable them each time Thumbs Up

From Topix

Single Locking

Single locking secures the vehicle and prevents
the doors from being opened from outside. The
doors may still be unlocked and opened from
inside the vehicle. In this state, only the
Perimeter alarm is activated.

Once the Perimeter alarm is armed, the alarm
system will sound if:
• The bonnet, tailgate, or a door is opened.
• The vehicle's battery is disconnected.
• An attempt is made to disconnect the alarm
siren.
If the vehicle is fitted with a Battery backed-up
sounder, the sounder will sound if the battery
is disconnected, or an attempt is made to
disconnect the sounder.

Note: This setting should be used in
circumstances, such as travelling on a ferry,
when pets are to be left in the vehicle, or if a
window must be left open, etc.

Double Locking

Double locking secures the vehicle and prevents
the doors from being opened from inside or
outside of the vehicle. The doors cannot be
unlocked or opened from inside the vehicle
when Double locked.
This provides additional security if the vehicle
is left unattended. The vehicle cannot be opened
by breaking a window and operating the door
locks from inside.
Additionally, Double locking also activates the
Full alarm system.

When the Full alarm is activated, the alarm
system will sound if:
• The bonnet, tailgate, or a door is opened.
• Movement is detected within the vehicle's
interior.
• A window, the front or rear windscreen, or
the sunroof glass is broken.
• The vehicle is raised or tilted.
If the vehicle is fitted with a Battery backed-up
sounder, the alarm system will also sound if:
• The vehicle's battery is disconnected.
• An attempt is made to disconnect the alarm
siren.
• An attempt is made to disconnect the
Battery backed-up sounder.

Note: In this state, an open window or sunroof
will cause the alarm to sound due to the
movement of air currents. For this reason, make
sure all of the windows and the sunroof are fully
closed before Double locking the vehicle.

As Fitzy and Sudds say if you want to double lock the car the only way to disable the interior alarm would be through the set up menu. This would allow you to leave a window open and not set off the alarm good for pets but no use for children as the car is unable to be unlocked from the inside. It also resets after the next double lock.

I always just use a single lock but then when the dog is in the car i'm either in the coffee shop of just nipping in to the supermarket so dont have to leave the car single locked for very long.

Hope this helps.
