Brake Pad warning light

Is this the normal thing to happen

My brake pad warning came on at 19500 miles. picked up set of front pads and sensor
Striped out and changed them 2day
Front pads worn low and sensor broke off when I removed it
Fitted new front brake pads and sensor
Road test pad light still on
Just checked and rear pads r low.

I thought it was front worn out before the rears ?

Back to dealer in the morning pick up rear set. Big Cry Remote time climate
Surround cameras
Privacy glass
Tow bar storage
Side steps
Chubby cooler
Genuine LR rubber mat set
Genuine 2nd row seat covers
4 x black wheel centre caps

Just had my second service at 24k, rear pads changed but the fronts wlil be ok to the third service, maybe beyond.
