Timed climate or remote park heat with timed climate?

can anyone explain this for please . Just about to order my new d4 commercial ,but can't decide on which one of these to have.the later is about £279 dearer but don't understand why.
Can a remote be added later ?

also while I'm at it can anyone recommend a nice colour .
At the moment I've narrowed it down to 4 or 5 , red blue, stone , grey, green!

remote can be added later, but unless you can update the car yourself, it will be cheaper to do for the remote version from order. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

When you say update is that activating it via the plug under the steering wheel.

Also is it only the fob I will need. Is the the aerial and recover all ready on the vehicle.

Mate of mine has his own business specialising in land rover's, so he could sort it.

If you don't order it factory fitted, then later you will need the control module, the fob and the antenna, and then once fitted some software updates to activate it, there are numerous site sponsors etc that can do the retro fit for you Thumbs Up Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Surely it's cheaper to not spec either timed or remote climate from the factory and have one of the site sponsors activate both, no?

I know, that's not necessarily in the spirit of things, but there's a fairly big price differential.

I'm only an hour or so ,don't mind travelling , be nice to take it for a spin .

How much is it for the remote park heat with timed climate , and how long does it take ?

Does it have to be done in a garage or can it be done anywhere .

Sorry for all the questions , I'm a bit new to this heater system.

While I'm on my soap box is there anything else that can be retro fitted to save money on my factory order options Question Thumbs Up
