MY2010 D4 HSE HVAC question... |
|
I have a 2010 HSE and somethings been bugging me for a while. On the D3 I was able to switch off the A/C, but the ventilation would stay on AUTO, but on the D4 if I switch off the A/C it also disables the AUTO ventilation.
Is this the same on other 2010 HSEs or is there something a little doggy with my HVAC unit?
TIA LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

The operation is the same AFAIK H
Quote:AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL
Press AUTO to select automatic operation.
The system will adjust the heat output, blower
speed, air intake and airflow distribution to
maintain the selected temperature(s) and
reduce misting without further adjustments.
The air distribution and blower controls may be
operated independently to override Auto mode.
If you do this, the indicator lamp on the AUTO
switch will go out. Press AUTO again to return
to automatic operation. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks DG, but if the AUTO function continues working ie I don't manual set which vents or alter the fanspeed I'd expect the AUTO light to remain on, but it doesn't and it only returns to on when the A/C is put back on. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

don't make sense that you have to have A/C on to enable auto ventilation - oh well. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
