Charging double trailer batteries from S socket

I have recently acquired a D4 that is fitted with twin towing electrics, N&S. I understand that the point of the S socket is to charge batteries and run a fridge in a caravan.

I have an existing camping trailer with 2 large batteries and a fridge. It has a standard N plug for the lights and an Anderson connector for the fridge and batteries connection.

If I make up an adapter from the Anderson plug to the S socket, am I in danger of melting any wiring in the D4? Will it provide enough juice, or do I really need to fit a second battery and loads of fat cables?

I think it's only a 20amp rated feed so you may struggle with two large batteries.
