A Bar and spolight removal

I am looking to remove my A bar and LR spot lamps. I assume that there is a specific way to do this ??

Any advice appreciated.

Well you'll probably need to source a new front bumper first Wink

Don't need a winch, don't use the extra lamps and so thought about removal.

Nick - you'll definately need a new bumper as the a-bar is bolted through the existing bumper with 4 large 20mm bolts (approx size). Obviously this means that you'll have 4 large holes in your bumper that need filling... or you'll need a new bumper.

On the plus side - how much do you want for your spots? Wink Whistle Thumbs Up

Nick you would need a replacement bumper as the 24mm holes made to mount the bar are located on the fold of the bumper moulding ....in essence it's not a simple case of plugging them up Wink

I'm in Ireland in August and I know where your winch is Chris!

In reality I was just after the lamps not a resprayed bumper, and a local bodyshop is fitting it as a favour and may wriggle if I start adding jobs into the deal.

But I can see the sense in your suggestion.

Now get me an HSE bumper with PDC by Thursday...................... Laughing

Side protection, Tow bar and soon to be A Bar should keep me safer in car parks. You know it makes sense. Wink
