Tail gate

HI all,
Can any body help, cant get into the boot, switch clicks so can't be solenoid must be cable that's snapped, how do i get the trim off the back top tail gate? prized the plastic loose and undid the screw but can't get the trim off, don't want to attack to hard and break it. ( probably expensive ) anybody know how to remove.
