Bleeding the heater system query. |
|
I've read the threads about bleeding the heater on the D3, as I have what seems to be a common problem in that after a while the heaster blows cold. I have tried the HEVAC reset, no faults showing.
I now want to bleed the system, and cannot find the bleed valve that sits under the engine cover. Is it the screw tap right at the back of the engine compartment near the bulkhead? (Its black and looks like the bleed valeve on the expansion tank). Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

Many moons ago there was a problem where the cabin temp sensor gave a faulty reading and the hevac thought the car was warmer than it was and blew cool air The cure was a piece of foam wrapped around the sensor next to the steering wheel.
