Yup, 8 miles west - only problem, I've never used mine to do that sort of work

Presumably you will need a Nanocom that has a multivehicle license rather than a regular one?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Not sure as I dont know anything about Nanocom - but as we are fitting an instrument cluster from another vehicle ie second hand?
Do you know yourself if this is the case?

Well.....
This could be good or could be bad, given that it's already square wheeled I've offered to lend Alan my Naocom Evo 2 but I'm unsure how much work or indeed what work / prerequisites are needed for his task.
Has anyone done a VIN transfer to support a replacement Instrument Pack (he needs his existing vehicle VIN loaded to the IP. I'm assuming it will also need an ECU flash with the relevant IP software ??
Aha, slight hijack, but I'm in Huntingdon and very keen to get some diagnostic info out of my car. Could I exchange beer tokens for use of the nanocom after allybally's issues have been resolved?!
I have spoke to and explained to the Garage what they need to do and there diagnostic equipment is capable of doing what they need to do, its just the sequence that they have done it in that's wrong.

Problem resolved
Garage finally admitted defeat in installing a second hand Instrument Cluster and instead fitted a new one which appears to be doing the trick
Thanks to Flack & Maple Cottage for all support and advice
