LED lamps in fog light
I got some led lamps from advanced factors .. Put them in the reversing lamp and fogs .
Reversing lamps are very bright and am very pleased , however the fog light is not as bright as the original lamp . This is obviously due to the design of the reflector and not the led bulb .
Has any one had any success in putting LED's in .. And if so which type ?
I could try a red LED I suppose ?G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Their web site has changed a bit recently, but I bought some of these tail/stop LEDs from HIDS4U a couple of years ago and they are awesome:
No SMDs have failed in the last two years and they are bright.
I see no reason why you couldn't put these in the rear fogs (assuming the fitting is the same as a D3).
EDIT: Looks like the red ones are out of stock at the moment.

Can anyone recommend any LED lamps to replace the rear number plate lamps ? Looks weird having nice LED rear light clusters with yellow lamps on the plate.Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik
