IID TOOL
Hi
In the list of things it can do, on the IID Tool web site, it says it can adjust the Eco fuel economy readout, under the instrument section.
I do not have as yet version 3 of the firmware, just 2.81 I think, the adjustment is not shown when entering that section.
any thoughts?
KeithCheers

Hi Keith
I answered your mail yesterday, may have been spam filtered...
Once you have updated your IIDTool to the latest version, you will find this adjustment in : IIDTool Menu->Car Config->IPC Instrument Pack
This setting was not available on V2.18 but included in V3.0.

Can this be done on the d3 ?
There is a setting in the SatNav on the D3 to recalibrate when new tyres have been fitted
Obviously with the D4 all adjustments must be relevant to tyres and wheel sizes and condition, out of my head a tyre does approx. 900 revolutions per mile, even 1mm variation on tyre size can have a have a big difference on calculations. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

In which case, Robbie, as we've both got the same MY, what wheels and tyres have you got on yours? I've got 20" wheels with Zeros on them - would your -6,5% still work for me?
Could I also ask another numpty question? Is there a way to get the IID to show distance in miles rather than kilometres?D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting

At the moment, the IID is in Km - which I believe is what is stored within the ECU's - Pat has said to me that an option for Miles or Km will be added at some point.Mark.
