Hi
I am thinking of purchasing a warrantee to cover my recently purchased 2004 54plate D3 SE with 114k miles. I would very much appreciate any guidance and recommendations. I have RAC roadside breakdown and home start cover, but not any warrantee.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Have you tried the RAC for warranties? I managed to obtain a 12 month Silver cover for my 8 year old with 137k. Cost the seller £250 but cost me only £60 Get in quick as some limit the age to no older than 10 years.

Warranty Direct wouldn't give me the cover I wanted due to mileage when it came to renewal.
Auto Protect, however have been absolutely fantastic and I've already recovered the cost of a 2 year policy with their payouts (Which have been flawless I have to say, much easier than Warranty Direct)
However they did say I could only get top Cover to 2016 (Mines a 56 Plate) so they might have a 10 year limit.
If you can get anything from them, however, I can highly recommend them. I thought Warranty Direct were good but Auto Protect have really been outstanding.

Thanks for your replies; Scarab, Galwaygreen and Dally. after reading your replies I was going to give Auto Protect a call, but on checking the warrantee I got with the car when I brought it in July I was pleasantly surprised to find out it is for 6 months and not 3 months as I thought. the warrantee is "AA 3star" which having read the T's & C's appears to provide a £500 contribution for all major components. it also states they (AA) will call me prior to the warrantee expiry date, I assume to see if I wish to purchase further cover. Once again many thanks for your responses. Derry Joined Aug 2014. Disco 3 SE 54plate, Buckingham Blue, Cream leather.
