As my iphone 4 has finally been put into the 'man drawer' my iphone 5s is on the way.
What is the best way to use it in the d4 (2009) 
My old phone connected seamlessly for phone integration & music & charging via the curly lead in the centre cubby.
Is it just the same with the 5s albeit with an adaptor thingee on the curly lead??

Not sure if your curly lead is an aftermarket one or not,but my 4 charges with the non-Apple one we have,whereas the wife's 5s won't.....Apple seem to have got a bit sniffy with non-Apple leads these days 
She plays music via Bluetooth so can't answer the music via lead part "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Mine works fine, only issue is that sometimes (more often than not) on an incoming call I have to manually switch the phone to car kit, a pain but I'm living with it. Paul.
