Calling all the Trailer eletrical wiring gurus
Hi Guys,
I am planning to rewire my trailer and have drawn up the diagram below. Could the Electrical gurus advise?

I am unsure how to connect the trailer to the car. I Bought the adapter from the Disco3.co.uk shop that fits into the white plug and I am hoping to use that point.
Some have suggested a DC to DC charger and some have suggested fitting an inline Inteligent NL solenoid.Disco 4 SDV6 HSE with Compomotives, BFG 265/65R18s, BigCountry drawer system, Melvill & Moon covers, NL 52L fridge, FR Spare Wheel Carrier, FR Roof Rack, Tenco RTT, FR 50" LED Bar, dual spots, Lift Rods, Mantec Snorkel, C-TEK Dual batt system, 270 Ostrichwing, Maxtrax, Icom ID-5100, Icom ID-51 as secondary, IIDtool BT

I'd probably have more via the fusebox and would include a DC to DC charger.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

What benefit is the DC to DC charger out of interest compared to a voltage sensitive relay ?.

I went for the CTEK purely because I use CTEK chargers for both my bike batteries and have never had any problems.
The CTEK D250S was recommended to me by many people on one of our local 4x4 forumsDisco 4 SDV6 HSE with Compomotives, BFG 265/65R18s, BigCountry drawer system, Melvill & Moon covers, NL 52L fridge, FR Spare Wheel Carrier, FR Roof Rack, Tenco RTT, FR 50" LED Bar, dual spots, Lift Rods, Mantec Snorkel, C-TEK Dual batt system, 270 Ostrichwing, Maxtrax, Icom ID-5100, Icom ID-51 as secondary, IIDtool BT

Overkill
Jet lag, all you need is the white plug wired to run off the 15a line from ignition to trailer with connection to hcdp mk4 panel. I have this setup and run a 105ah LC battery plus extras similar to yours. Try and keep it simple and you will have less problems down the line.
