Extended Warranties
Any advice just going to collect my Disco 3 later today, I'm already worried about faults they churn up & the car has none ha ha Yet!
Might be a daft question after all the years of manufacturing by Land Rover why do these vehicles have so many faults?
Excited but feel nervous.

i know what you mean i have been plagued with faults but most lads on here say its rare . if you go for an extended warranty make sure there isnt a cap on the hourly rate otherwise you can find yourself having to pay the extra , good look and enjoy no point in worrying about something that may never happen

You're right hope it's a good one it's the only thing that's stopped me getting one previously, it's not the running of it...it's the worry of it going wrong.
I'll have to shop around to see how much a warranty will cost has anyone got any advice on what's best.
Cheers

Lots of info on extended warranties in the Finance & Ins section, plus debate on whether worth doing or not. Mine is 8 1/2 years old and never not been covered, and always claimed more than I've paid, going to be scary when I cant get cover. Others have not bothered, some saved money, others well out of pocket. Pays yer money etc.
