Misfuel Reset Tool
I've just been checking everything in perpetration for a trip abroad and it seems the two prongs on the yellow stick that is needed to reset the fuel filler are broken off on mine.
Any ideas on where I can get a replacement and how much they are?
Try Nick aka The Large One... if he can't get em no one canCheers Ian

Wrong on both counts I've never misfueled a car ... Yet, but I've been driving diesels for 30 years.
I'll change my profile but I've got a d4 now.
I thought about tlo but wasn't sure if he was still knocking around.
The reason I thought about the tool is some guy in the middle of nowhere tripped the device when filling with a jerry can and got a bit stuck. Don't want the same to happen to me!

Prongs got broken off 'cos whoever used it before to unlock the barrier twisted it after insertion instead of pushing it down!!
How do I know? Bloody well did it myself last week!! Doh and double DOH !!!!!
Easy to get a replacement, just go to any dealer

option B
over here there is no standard on nozzle size so the filling often activates the flap( great market research LR)
apart from me everyone uses the same method when this occurs...screwdriver/hammer..bits fall into tank no more issues.
crude but commonly effective
They should really remove it for the Chinese market. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

The tool is to reset the flap in the filler neck which is activated if you for instance put a petrol pump into the filler neck
From the manual

Ah cheers Hairy Dan I see, Is this also the reason why you can't seem to get the diesel pump all the way in the spout neck? when I first filled her up I thought I was going to be covered in Diesel…
