My Discovery 3 in use today
I used my Disco for one of the main reasons I brought it for today. Towing my vintage tractor to shows and ploughing matches.
First time I'd towed with it since I'd had it mapped by BAS and it has made such a difference very pleased with it.

Very nice D3 and even better tractor
Doing one of the things it was designed for Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:
"Duratrac"

Can't beat a good old vintage tractor. We have 13 of them all in all. I show them and work them.

That's brilliant
Just got my tow bar and electrics so have a smile on my face every time I wander down to the tip with the small trailer. I'd love to tow something bigger though for the smug factor

I was pulling hedges out with it yesterday but didn't get any pictures of that sadly. I was surprised how well it pull the hedges out 1st low range and just blod with just a hint of throttle.

When I had my D2 I pulled a tree stump out of my front garden with it but my smugness lasted half a second as I very nearly reversed into the front of my house
I've never done an emergency stop in reverse before.

That might have been a hard one to explain, and a hard one for people to let you forget. Lol

Nice pics, if we had all known what those 35,35x and 135 would be worth what they are now we have been in a good position now.
If you have put the money for a new one in the bank I doubt it would be worth as much as the tractor would.
Those Ifors are pretty low but I hate driving a tractor up on to them, must be even worse with a plough on the back, just feels like it's going flip over.IID PRO

No it's fine driving the tractor with the plough on the trailer. I have loaded tracked tractor and bulldozers on trailers and low loaders now that is a little scary. All you see if sky until you come crashing down and hope that your still lined up.
Excellent, love the tractor. Wish I had my acreage back, would def go the vintage route. My neighbour had one, it was a delight...____
