The interior of our D3 is getting wet - running in near the accelerator pedal, through the sunroof into the front passenger seat, into the back seat area as well.
Now, obviously, we have a heavy rain storm last night but this has happened before and, with winter coming, needs sorting.
Two thoughts spring to mind.
Either it's a leaky sunroof seal OR it's an ill fitting panoramic roof (we had it replaced this time last year).
Thoughts...need to sort quick otherwise my other car is going to be outsed from the garage '06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps

plastic left and right of the windscreen |

There might be another leak reason:
The black plastic on the left and right of the windscreen (outside) is fitted by plastic clips. The water runs behind the plastic (from the top) and enters your car vie the body holes that are used to secure the plastic clips to the body. Had that issue on my 2005 D3 and fixed it by buying new Plastic parts (several modifications so make sure you get the latest greatest) and using new (improved) plastic clips.
So in case all other "water routes" are not your problem you might want to check the Windscreen side cover....

P.S.: You starts to wonder if it never rained in the UK during initial Discovery 3 testing

should've done a search before even posting. Doh!
seems pretty obvious to me now that it's the blocked drain pipe
note to self...EVERY problem has been seen a thousand times before and disco3.co.uk has the answer '06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps

I suspect your footwell issue will almost certainly be the sun roof drain tubes
1. There is a bulkhead joint under the dash behind the accelerator pedal - it's not uncommon for this to detach itself from the tube and rain will simply pour into the footwell. It's a bit of a s*d to get to and you'll need to be fluent in yoga
2. The leaking onto the rear seat problem - if you had the panorama roof replaced last year, I'd certainly look there but only after you've done the tubes thing.
