LR aftermarket bluetooth kit help. |
|
To cut a long story short I bought a brand new LR aftermarket kit of ebay for a song but it's been sitting in the garage for a while as I didn't have the time to fit it.
I'm going to the LR show in Peterborough and was hoping for someone to help me fit it, after mailing Wiggs I understood that the biggest job was fitting the loom as so much of the dash has to come out.
I have fitted the loom and both modules but am missing the mike and I have a few questions.
1) I'm looking for a mike for the LR aftermarket bluetooth kit, as my one was missing, have you got one for sale, if so message me.
2) The plug at the end of the loom (by the gear lever), what do I plug it into or do I just blank it off?
3) Would anyone be will ing to fit the buttons to the steering wheel for me at Peterborough and help me finish off the job and test it all out? (willing to pay someone to get this job finished).
4) Has anyone got a D4 Bluetooth module for sale as I understand it, the D4 one is better than the D3 one. Dale

From what little I know, I think if the two modules sit either side of the transmission tunnel, then its the LR aftermarket kit. Dale

I have the after market kit, installed it the other day, just missing a mike for it.
One question still left unanswered, the plug at the end of the loom (by the gear lever), what do I plug it into or do I just blank it off, also what is it for? Dale

Mines paired with 0000 so guess its aftermarket. Is there any updates or ways to make it any better?
