Hadn't used the car for 5 days, went out on Sunday past, battery was completely dead. Jump started using the Mrs car. Drove 3-4 miles, stopped nipped into a shop came out and was dead again???
Took for a 15 mile run on motorway, stopped and she started fine??
Took to a tyre, battery And exhaust place, they put their magic gauge on the battery and said all cells and the battery are ok??
Used for next couple of days, as normal, short trips and left overnight without issue.
Hadn't used the car since Tuesday morning, got into start it this afternoon and battery dead again?
Can't see any obvious lights on, and no other issues, but if battery cells are ok surely something must be draining it?
Any ideas or thoughts appreciated!
Cheers

I would want to charge a battery overnight before I tested it and declared it fit.
If you want to borrow a battery to try pop over. Also need to check your charging rate, looking for about 14.5v at the battery whilst running. Paul Redding

Steve thanks- didn't realise you had batteries?
I don't even have a voltmeter here- but place that checked said was charging as normal.
Will try to get down this eve but might be the morning

We certainly do, I took them off the website as we can't ship them but locally no issue.
Saturdays are not good here - Only one in the office so don't expect much help in the nicest possible way (and not me!) Paul Redding

I'm about if you need lifts, help, or someone to help drink tea - or a 25A charge.
Cheers,
Al

Thanks for the offer Al.
Hopefully sorted, went down to AF..... Alternator tested and looks ok, battery a bit poorly so a loner battery in and mine having an overnight charge.
As always, exceptional service from Steve and team.
